New billing model

We would like to inform you of an important development concerning the billing model at Salt Business, in order to improve your experience.

 

What changes for you:

From 1st May 2024, we'll be issuing your Salt Business bills for the current month. These bills will include the monthly fee for the current month as well as any out of bundle charges for the previous month. The total amount of monthly fees paid over the duration of your contract will not change.

1st May 2024 transition bill 

Therefore, the 1st May bill will serve as a transition bill between our old and new billing model. The amount of this transition bill will be exceptionally higher, including:

  • the monthly fee and any consumption for April (old model);
  • the monthly fee for May (new model).

Bills from 1st June 2024 

Your bills will be issued according to the new model and will return to their usual amounts, including:

  • the monthly fee for the current month;
  • any out-of-bundle charges for the previous month.

Good news: alignment with Pro Office

This change aligns with the current billing model of our fixed-line Pro Office product, creating a more seamless experience and preparing for the future arrival of single bills for fixed and mobile offers.

This billing model follows standard practice for rent, insurance and other services. This change has given us the opportunity to revise the layout of our bills to improve readability.

Do I have to pay an extra month?

No. 

Last month, you paid from 1st March to 29th March, and now you'll pay from 1st April to 31st May. As you can see, the period for this transitional bill is longer than usual (60 days instead of 30 days). However, the total amount of the monthly fee paid over the duration of your contract will not change.

The next bill will be issued on 1st June, and you will pay your usual amount, month after month.

Since I'm paying for the current month, will I be reimbursed for the last month of my contract?

Your final bill will contain only your consumption and additional services. Your monthly bill will be sent to you at the beginning of the previous month.

What does my bill amount correspond to?

The amount corresponds to your monthly fee for the months of April and May, plus any out of bundle charges incurred during the month of April.

The next bill will be issued on 1st June, and you will pay your usual amount, month after month.

I have a Pro Mobile as well as a Pro Office subscription. Will I receive a single bill?

Not yet. But the long-term idea is to have a single bill for customers with Pro Mobile and Pro Office subscriptions.

I am not happy with this change; can I terminate my subscription free of charge?

We are sorry that you are not happy with this change. However, payment conditions are not fixed by a contractual clause and early termination fees apply in case of termination.
