Action-packed and gripping: "The Brigade - Special Operation in Paris" is a CANAL+ Original Series that takes viewers into the most dangerous districts of Paris. The protagonist of the eight-part series is Saïd, a former Special Forces soldier. As the new leader of the B.R.I., an elite unit of young and enthusiastic police officers, he dedicates himself to organized crime and terrorism in Paris. The documentary reveals in detail for the first time how Richard Williams managed to shape his daughters into the most successful tennis players of their generation. It not only portrays a man who never stopped believing in the talent and imminent success of his daughters but also chronicles his fight against poverty, racism, and prejudice in America.

In the gripping six-part series "Nachts im Paradies," viewers experience an exciting nocturnal taxi trip through a metropolis full of deceptions. With Jürgen Vogel (known from "The Wave," "The Team," and "Jenseits der Spree") in the role of Vincent and Lea Drinda (known from "Der Greif" and "We Children from Bahnhof Zoo") as his daughter Joni, the story of a father-daughter duo unfolds, who must find each other again on a decisive night.

"Lucky Hank" promises dark humor and midlife crisis chaos. It tells the story of Hank Devereaux, the head of the English department at Railton College in Pennsylvania. Trapped between a midlife crisis and a looming nervous breakdown, Hank's life is turned upside down when he gives a provocative speech during a class, denouncing the university's shortcomings and calling it the "capital of mediocrity." Overnight, Hank becomes a media star, but his sudden fame also brings unexpected problems.

The Polish film "Girls to Buy" is based on real events and follows the journey of Emi (played by Paulina Galazka). Coming from humble beginnings, she aspires to a life of luxury and enters the world of escorting, which increasingly consumes her. As the film progresses, Emi becomes a recruiter of escorts for the Emirates, but soon realizes the downsides of her new life. Other cast members include Katarzyna Figura, Katarzyna Sawczuk, and Giulio Berruti. "Girls to Buy" is one of the most successful Polish films of 2021 and will be available on the CANAL+ app from May 8 in both a cut version and an uncut version.
